Community Day Out  (Full Day | 1:1 | 6-8hrs) 

Community Day Out is a full day, small group outing (min 6 hours) joining in social events, visiting community places and choosing activities you enjoy.


Typical Schedule (7hrs)

  • 10.00am - Home Pick Ups
  • 10.30 - Community Events |  Markets | Trails
  • 12.30 - Picnic / Bakery Lunch (own cost or select meal voucher)
  • 2.30pm - Community Places - Museums | Galleries | Iconic Sites
  • 5.00 pm - Home Drop Off

(plus provider travel by agreement)


What is social and community participation?

Social and community participation is about meeting people with similar interests and joining in social and community activities. It means going where others go, doing what others do, with other people and choosing activities you enjoy. Social and community participation also means different things to different people. It can include going to your local café, bushwalking with a friend, doing a craft class, exploring community , or volunteering.
